Recreational Trails located in: Delaware
The State of Delaware is located in the Northeastern United States. The state is situated along Delaware Bay and the Delaware River with the southernmost portion along the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. Delaware is surrounded by Maryland, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
The largest urban area of Delaware is the Wilmington area at the northern end of the state. This area is 25 miles south of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
There are a number of recreational trails for bike riding, running and walking within the Wilmington, Newark and Dover areas. There are also trails located within the countryside, such as the Michael Castle Trail that follows along the canal that connects Delaware Bay to Chesapeake Bay.
