The State of New Hampshire  is located in the Northeastern United States. New Hampshire is a state of tree covered hills and picturesque rural communities.

New Hampshire has numerous recreational trails throughout the state. These may be paved pathways, improved with a graded and compacted surface, or be little more than a worn down natural path. Many of the recreational trails are rail trails that are located along abandoned railroad corridors other trails follow along rivers. These trails provided a way to get outdoor exercise year round, let trail users experience the the natural beauty of the state and serve connect rural communities.
