The State of Minnesota is located in the northcentral portion of the United States. The States of North and South Dakota lie to the west, Iowa to the south and Wisconsin to the east. Minnesota sits just below the provinces of Manitoba and Ontario, Canada. Minnesota is known for its numerous lakes, dense forests, Swedish heritage and its breweries.
