The Cedar Lake LRT Regional Trail is a 4.5-mile long paved pathway that spans between Hopkins and Minneapolis in Minnesota. The trail follows the route of an abandoned railroad right-of-way and takes a straight shot through the western suburbs of Minneapolis. The trail goes past commercial and industrial areas, residential neighborhoods and allows a connection to several other major recreational trails in the area.
Conditions
The Cedar Lake LRT Regional Trail is paved for the entire route. There are long stretches of trail away from traffic and overpasses for many of the major roadways. The trail is open for bike riding, running and walking.

Minnesota River Bluffs Regional Trail: the two trails connect at the southwest end of the Cedar Lake LRT Regional Trail at 11th Avenue S to the south of Excelsior Boulevard in Hopkins.
Lake Minnetonka LRT Regional Trail: the southeast end of this trail is located a few blocks north of the Cedar Lake LRT Regional Trail in Hopkins.
North Cedar Lake Regional Trail: the two trails intersect at the northeast side of the interchange between Highway 169 and Excelsior Boulevard in Hopkins.
Grand Rounds, Midtown Greenway, Kenilworth Trail, Lake of the Isles Park Trail, Cedar Lake Trail: These trails all converge to the north of Calhoun Lake on the western edge of Minneapolis.
End Points
