The State of Alaska  is located to the northwest of the Continental United States and west of Canada. It is the largest and most northerly state in the US.

The cities of Anchorage, Fairbanks and Juneau each have recreational trails for bike riding, running and walking. In winter months, these trails can be used for walking or cross-country skiing.
