The Bruce Vento Regional Trail is a 7.5-mile long paved trail that spans between Downtown St. Paul to Interstate 694 at the community of White Bear Lake in Minnesota. The route of the trail is an abandoned railroad right-of-way that takes a straight shot through the urban area. The south end of the trail is located along Kellogg Boulevard on the northeast side of Downtown St. Paul. The route includes several parks, commercial areas, older residential neighborhoods, Lake Phalen and an overpass for crossing Interstate 694.
Conditions
The Bruce Vento Regional Trail is paved for the entire route. Many of the crossings for busy thoroughfares have an overpass or an underpass, but there are a number of road crossings. The trail is open for bike riding, walking and running.

Indian Mounds Park Trail: the two trails meet at the south end of the Bruce Vento Regional Trail at Kellogg Boulevard and Interstate 94 to the northeast of Downtown St. Paul. The trails of Indian Mounds Park connect to other recreational trails along the Mississippi River and to trails that lead to Battle Creek Regional Park.
Phalen Lake Regional Park Trail: the trails intersect near Johnson Parkway to the north of Maryland Avenue in St. Paul.
Samuel Morgan Regional Trail: the two trails intersect to the northeast of the intersection of Frost Avenue and English Street in St. Paul.
End Points
The south end of the Bruce Vento Regional Trail is located at Kellogg Boulevard and Interstate 94 to the northeast of Downtown St. Paul.
The north end of the trail is located at Buerkle Road to the east of Highway 61 in White Bear Lake.
