Recreational trails for cycling, running and walking in Roseburg, Oregon
Roseburg is located along Interstate 5 in Western Oregon. The city is situated along the South Umpqua River. This area is located about halfway between Eugene and Medford.
South Umpqua Riverfront Trail
The South Umpqua Riverfront Trail consists of several segments of paved and unpaved pathways that are located along the river. These pathways connect local parks and neighborhoods. Connections can be made between the separate sections by using local roadwas.
The northern portion of the South Umpqua Riverfront Trail connects Stewart Park, Riverfront Park, Gaddis Park and Downtown Roseburg.
Other sections include a pedestrian lane on the SW Oak Avenue Bridge and as stretch that follows alongside Interstate 5 to the south of town. There is also a paved pathway that connects Templin Beach Park and Micelli Park.
A 2-mile long stretch of the trail follows alongside Interstate 5 from the south end of Roseburg to the community of Green.
