The GHS Swamp Rabbit Trail is a 21-mile long system of paved pathways that travels through much of the Greenville area in northwestern South Carolina. GHS stands for Greenville Health System.
The trail follows the forested greenbelt along the Reedy River and connects multiple parks, schools and other points of interest and a portion of the trail was constructed along an abandoned railroad right-of-way. The trail also wanders through Downtown Greenville going past the waterfalls and creating a great place for a lunchtime stroll.
Conditions
The GHS Swamp Rabbit Trail is paved for the entire rout and is open for non-motorized use such as bike riding, walking and running. There are long stretches of the trail between road crossings.

End Points
The north end of the GMH Swamp Rabbit Trail is located at Tate Road off of White Horse Road Ext in Traveler's Rest.
The south end of the trail is located at South Pleasantburg Drive and Cleveland Street, near the Greenville Country Club Golf Course.
