Greenville is located in the northwest portion of South Carolina. The city has a 21-mile long paved trail system and pathways in many of the local parks.

GHS Swamp Rabbit Trail

The GHS Swamp Rabbit Trail is a 21-mile long system of paved pathways that travels through much of the Greenville area in northwestern South Carolina.  GHS stands for Greenville Health System.

The trail follows the forested greenbelt along the Reedy River and connects multiple parks, schools and other points of interest and a portion of the trail was constructed along an abandoned railroad right-of-way. The trail also wanders through Downtown Greenville going past the waterfalls and creating a great place for a lunchtime stroll.

Lake Conestee Nature Park Trails & Greenville County Recreation Park & Ballfield Complex

Lake Conestee Nature Park is a 400 acre site located on the southside of Greenville. This area is located along Mauldin Road has athletic fields along with vast areas of natural areas. There are also miles of paved and unpaved pathways for exploring the hardwood forests, wetlands and other features of the natural areas.
