The Children of the Sun Trail is a 7-mile long paved path located on the north side of Spokane in Eastern Washington State. The trail follows alongside State Highway 395 from Division Street to Market Street. The trail goes past schools, local parks, business districts and residential neighborhoods.
The trail has recently been expanded to the south to a traihead along N. Market Street. Future plans for the Children of the Sun Trail will extend it to the south to connect to the Centennial Trail and the Ben Burr Trail at Interstate 90.
Conditions
The Children of the Sun Trail is paved for the entire route. The trail is open for bike riding, running and walking.
