The Centennial Trail is a 37.5-mile ling paved system of trails located in the Spokane area of Western Washington. The route starts at Nine Miles Falls, goes through the heart of Spokane and ends at the border with Idaho. At the border, trail users can connect to the North Idaho Centennial Trail that extends to Coeur d'Alene in Idaho.
The trail follows the Spokane River and travels through miles of forest, goes past local parks, residential neighborhoods and commercial areas.
Conditions
The Centennial Trail is paved for the entire route and is open for bike riding, running and walking. The trail system includes long stretches of wide paved trail that travel away from roadways combined with connections that require riding on roadways.

Fish Lake Trail: a connection can be made between the two trails by using W. Riverside Avenue for about 0.4 miles.
Children of the Sun Trail: this 7-mile long paved trail is located 2 miles to the north of the Centennial Trail along N. Market Street.
North Idaho Centennial Trail: the two trails meet at the Washington / Idaho just past the point where the Centennial Trail goes under Interstate 90.
End Points
The northwest end of the Centennial Trail is located at Riverside State Park in the community of Nine Mile Falls.
