The Catskill Scenic Trail is a 26-mile long unpaved pathway that spans between Bloomville and Roxbury in Southeastern New York State. The trail was constructed along the gentle grades of an abandoned railroad corridor and takes its visitors through the beautiful rural countryside of this section of the state.
The route includes the historic train depot in the Village of Stamford and octagonal signage to mark the trail.
Conditions
The Catskill Scenic Trail is unpaved with a wide compacted surface or a grassy natural surface. The trail is open for non-motorized uses such as bike riding, walking and horseback riding. The grades are fairly gentle and most of the route is located away from major roadways.

The Catskill Scenic Trail goes near the following communities: Bloomville, South Kortright, Hobart, Stamford, Grand Gorge and Roxbury.
End Points
The southwest end of the Catskill Scenic Trail is located along New York 10 on the east side of Bloomville.
The eastern end of the trail is located along County Road 30 on the north side of Roxbury.
