The Alum Creek Trail is a system of paved pathways that spans over 22 miles on the east side of the Columbus urban area. It is also referred to as the Alum Creek Greenway Trail. The trail extends from the community of Westerville to Three Creeks Park south of Williams Road. The trail follows the creek as it meanders through the area and goes past multiple local parks.
Conditions
The Alum Creek Trail system is paved for its entire route. It is open for bike riding, running and walking. There are numerous parks along the way with parking areas and restrooms.

Connecting Trails
The Alum Creek Trail connects to a number of other recreational trails and to trails within the many parks along the way.
Ohio to Erie Trail: The Ohio to Erie Trail is a system of trails that span from Cincinnati to Cleveland. Within the Columbus area the Ohio to Erie Trail includes the Olentangy Trail and the Genoa Trail. The Genoa Trail can be reached from the north end og the Alum Creek Trail by using the multi-use paths along N. Cleveland Avenue and Polaris Parkway.
I-670 Bikeway: The I-670 Bikeway follows alongside Interstate 670 from the Alum Creek Trail to Downtown Columbus. The connection to the Alum Creek Trail is located near the interchange of N. Nelson Road and I-670.
Blacklick Creek Greenway Trail: The Blacklick Creek Greenway Trail connects to the very south end of the Alum Creek Trail at Three Creeks Park. The park is to the north of London Groveport Road on the southeast side of the city.
End Points
The north end of the Alum Creek Trail is located at at point 0.4 miles north of County Line Road W and 0.2 miles west of N. Cleveland Avenue.
The south end of the trail is located at Three Creeks Park where it meets the Blacklick Creek Greenway Trail. This park is south of the interchange of Highway 33 and Interstate 270, off of London Groveport Road.
