The Nature Coast State Trail is a 32-mile long paved trail located in Northern Florida. The trail was constructed along abandoned railroad right-of-ways that existed in the Suwannee River Valley in the early 1900s. Among the attractions along the route, the trail uses the Historic Suwannee Railroad Bridge to cross the river and goes past Fanning Springs and Manatee Springs State Parks.
The trail spans between Cross City and Trenton with a branch that heads to the south at Fanning Springs and reaches down to Chiefland. There are plans to expand the trail to the east as far a Newberry.
