Auburndale TECCO Trail & General James A. Van Fleet State Trail
The Auburndale TECCO Trail is a 6.7-mile long paved pathway that spans travels to the west of Berkeley Road between Denton Avenue in Auburndale and Commonwealth Avenue in Polk City. The trail is located along an abandoned railroad corridor and goes past Lake Myrtle Sports Park, residential neighborhoods and farmland. The northen end of the Auburndale TECCO Trail connects to the General James A. Van Fleet Trail in Polk City.
The General James A. Van Fleet State Trail is a 29-mile long paved pathway that spans between the communities of Mabel and Polk City in Central Florida. The trail is located approximately 33 miles west of Orlando. The route of the trail is that of an abandoned railroad right-of-way and is very rural and goes through the Green Swamp Wilderness Preserve area of Florida. The landscapes along the way include the river swamp, bottomland forest, pine flatwoods, former citrus lands and cattle ranches. The route is very straight and there are very few road crossings.

Fort Fraser Trail
The Fort Fraser Trail is a 7.8-mile long paved pathway located between Highway 570 and Highway 60 and west of Lake Hancock. The trail follows alongside Bartow Road and goes past Polk State College Lakeland Campus, Downtown Highland City and Spessard L. Holland Elementary School.
The north end of the Fort Fraser Trail is located at Winter Lake Road and Bartow Road in Lakeland. The south end of the trail is located at E. Van Fleet Drive to the east of N. Broadway Avenue in Bartow.
Chain of Lakes Trail
The Chain of Lakes Trail is a 3.6-mile long paved pathway located between Downtown Winter Haven and Lake Alfred to the east of Lakeland. The trail follows the abandoned railroad corridor and goes past commercial areas, several lakes and residential areas,
Lake Parker Park Trails
Lake Parker Park is located on the northwestern shore of the lake and to the east of Lakeland Hills Boulevard in Lakeland. The park has a system of paved trails and there is a narrow paved walkway adjacent to Parker Lake Drive.
