The Tallahassee-St. Marks Historic Railroad State Trail is a 20.5-mile long paved path that extends between the middle of Tallahassee to the south end of St. Marks. The trail was constructed along an abandoned railroad right-of-way and travels past the urban and residential areas of Tallahassee, then follows alongside State Route 363 and then Old Woodville Road through the community of Woodville. South of Woodville, the trail goes through a thickly wooded area for several miles until it reaches the community of St. Marks, stopping at the marina on St. Marks River.
Conditions
The Tallahassee-St Marks Historic Railroad State Trail is paved the entire route. The trail is open for bike riding, running and walking. The trail has relatively few road crossings.

End Points
The north end of the Tallahassee-St. Marks Historic Railroad State Trail is located at Gambles Street and Stearns Street, a few blocks west of the Florida A&M University campus.
The south end of the trail is located at Riverside Drive in St. Marks.
