The Suwanee River Greenway is a 12.5-mile long paved pathway that heads to the north and to the east from the community of Branford in Northern Florida. The trail was build along an abandoned railroad corridor and allows a lovely view of Historic Florida. The eastern end of the trail is located near Ichetucknee Spring State Park and allows a connection to the Ichetucknee to O'Leno Trail that heads east to Fort White.
Within Branford the trail goes right next to the river, there is parking and picnic benches available at this location.
Conditions
The Suwanee River Greenway is paved the entire way. The trail is open to bike riding, running and walking. The trail follows alongside US Highway 129 to the north of Branford and US Highway 27 to the east of Branford.

Ichetucknee to O'Leno Trail: the two trail come close to each other along US Highway 27, 1.4 miles east of Sand Hill Road.
End Points
The north end of the Suwanee River Greenway is located at the intersection of US Highway 129 and County Road 248 at 2.8 miles north of the center of Branford.
The eastern end of the trail is located along US Highway 27, 1.4 miles east of Sand Hill Road and about 9.7 miles east of the center of Branford.
