The State of New Jersey is located along the shores of the Atlantic Ocean, just south of New York and east of Pennsylvania and north of Delaware.
New Jersey has a number of lengthy recreational trails for bike riding, running and walking.
The recreational trails listed below are some of the more prominent trails in the state. These trails link communities, provide an opportunity for outdoor recreations, provide access to other outdoor recreations such as athletic fields, parks, beaches and lakes. The trails are often used for commuting to work or to school or for sight-seeing.
