The Little Miami Scenic Trail is a 78.5-mile long paved pathway that spans from Cincinnati to the city of Springfield in Southwestern Ohio. The trail is part of the Ohio-to-Erie Trail system that will eventually reach from the Ohio River to Lake Erie. The route goes through the residential suburbs, alongside the Miami River, across open farmland, through miles of thick hardwood forests and past numerous local communities.
Along the way, the Little Miami Scenic Trail allows connections to other regional recreational trails that span out to various communities in Southwestern Ohio.
Conditions
The Little Miami Scenic Trail is paved the entire route and is open to non-motorized uses such as bike riding and walking.

Nearby Trails
Lunkin Airport Trail & Armlender Park Connector Trail: these trails are located near the southwestern end of the Little Miami Scenic Trail.
Lebanon Countryside Trail: the two trails meet in Maineville. The Lebanon Countryside Trail then crosses the Little Miami River and heads north to the south side of Lebanon.
Creekside Trail, Prairie Grass Trail & Xenia Jamestown Connector: these trails all meet in Xenia at the historic Xenia Station near Miami Avenue and S. Detroit Street. The Creekside Trail heads off to Dayton, the Prairie Grass Trail heads of to London and the Xenia Jamestown Connector heads to the east to go through Jamestown.
Simon Kenton Trail: the Simon Kenton Trail starts in the middle of Springfield near the north end of the Little Miami Scenic Trail. Head two blocks to the east on E. Washingto Street to reach the Simon Kenton Trail.
End Points
The southwest end of the Little Miami Scenic Trail is located near the intersection of Beechmont Avenue and Cincinnati Batvia Road in Cincinnati to the east of the Cincinnati Municipal Airport.
The northeast end of the Little Miami Scenic Trail is located in the center of Springfield at E. Washington Street and S. Limestone Street.
