The Delta De Anza Regional Trail is a 19-mile long paved path that stretches between Willow Pass Road northeast of Concorde and E. Cypress Road in Oakley. The trail goes through the communities of Bay Point, Pittsburg, Antioch and Oakley passing through residential neighborhoods.
The trail passes by numerous schools and parks. It also intersects, or goes near, several other local and regional trails. A lonrge protion of the trail follows alongside the Contral Costa Canal.
Conditions
The Delta De Anza Regional Trail is paved the entire route. The trail has numerous street crossings, but does have lengthy sections away from streets and traffic. The trail is open for bike riding, running and walking.

Los Medanos Path: the two trails meet at the southwest side of Los Medanos College in Pittsburg.
Silverado Trail: the two trails meet at James Dolon Boulevard to the west of Contra Loma Boulevard in Antioch.
Mokelumne Trail: the two trails intersect near Lone Tree Way and James Dolon Boulevard in Antioch.
Marsh Creek Regional Trail: the eastern end of the Delta De Anza Regional Trail comes within 0.5 mile of the Marsh Creek Regional Trail in Oakley.
End Points and Trail Description
Going from west to east, the route of the Delta De Anza Regional Trail follows alongside California Delta Highway then north alongside Willow Pass Road for a short bit.The trail then kicks to the southeast to Bailey Road. At Bailey Road the trail heads south to the south side of California Delta Highway near the Pittsburg/Bay Point BART Station. South of the freeway, the trail again kicks to the southeast, passing Rancho Medanos Junior High School, Stoneman Elementary School and Los Medanos College. The trail continues to the southeast until it reaches Somersville Towne Center of Somersville Road.
At Somersville Road, trail users can easily connect to the Mokelumne Trail off of Buchanan Road or head south alongside Somersville Road, crossing at Buchanan Road, to continue on the Delta De Anza Regional Trail. the trail turns back to the southeast at 1/4 mile south of Buchanan Road and begins to run alongside the Contra Costa Canal.
The trail continues southeast, passing Canal Park and then crosses James Donlon Boulevard. On the south side of the boulevard, there is an intersection with the Silverado Trail. The trail then goes past Antioch Community Park. At this point trail users can connect with the many paved and unpaved pathways in the park and onto trails that wrap around Contra Loma Reservoir.
The Delta De Anza Regional Trail then crosses back to the north side of James Donlon Boulevard and follows alongside the Contra Costa Canal and past Sutter Elementary School. Just west of Lone Tree Way, the trail intersects the Mokelume Trail.
The Delta De Anza Regional Trail continues to follow alongside the Contra Costa Canal for another 6.5 miles east of Lone Tree Way. The trail passes by the Sutter Delta Medical Center, crosses Deer Valley Road, intersects with the trail that heads south to Country Manor Park, crosses under the John Marsh Heritage Highway, crosses Nelroy Road and Laurel Ridge Community College. The trail then heads to the east crossing Empire Avenue and O'Hara Avenue and goes past O'Hara Middle School.
The east end of the Delta De Anza Regional Trail is located at W Cypress Road and Rose Avenue. This point is 0.5 miles west of the Marsh Creek Regional Trail.
