The Coyote Creek Trail - South Section is an 18.5 mile long paved path located in southeastern San Jose and Milpitas. The trail travels through the natural areas alongside Coyote Creek from Tully Road in San Jose to Morning star Drive in Milpitas. The route includes a number of local parks including Hellyer County Park, golf courses, residential neighborhoods and commercial areas. The northern part of the trail goes through urban areas and the southern part goes past farmland and natural areas.
At its south end, the Coyote Creek Trail passes under Highway 101 and stops in a residential part of Milpitas, not far form Anderson Lake County Park.
Conditions
The Coyote Creek Trail - South Section is paved the entire way. The trail is open for bike riding, running and walking. Most of the trail is located away from major roadways and there are relatively few road crossings. There are underpasses for many of the major roadways.

End Points
The north end of the Coyote Creek Trail - South Section is located along Tully Road to the northeast of Senter Road in San Jose.
