The Aliso Creek Trail is a system of paved and unpaved pathways that span for over 12 miles and spans between the communities of Aliso Viejo and Trabuco Canyon in Southern California. The trail travels through the natural areas alongside Aliso Creek and passes Laguna Niguel Regional Park, other local parks, schools, residential neighborhoods and commercial centers.
Aliso Creek is located in a canyon filled with the vegetation and wildlife native to this part of southern California.
Aliso Creek Trail East is an unpaved pathway that extends 3.25 miles to the west from the end of Aliso Creek Trail.
Conditions
The Aliso Creek Trail has paved and unpaved sections. The trail has underpasses for crossing the major roadways. The trail is open for non-motorized uses such as bike riding, running and walking. Much of the trail is located away from major roadways but a portion of it is located alongside Los Alisos Boulevard.

The Aliso Creek Trail meets up with the Edison Riding & Hiking Trail and the Aliso-Serrano Riding & Hiking Trail to the north of the Foothills Transportation Corridor highway.
End Points
The southwest end of the Aliso Creek Trail system is located to the south of the intersection of Aliso Creek Road and Allicia Parkway in Laguna Niguel.
The northeast end of the trail system is located along El Toro Road at a point .9 miles from the intersection with Glenn Ranch Road in Trabuco Canyon.
