Recreational Trails located in: Virginia
The State of Virginia is located in the Southeastern United States.
The state has a number of regional recreational trails that extend for miles and allow trail users to experience the great outdoors far from traffic and congestion. Many of these trails were constructed along abandoned railroad right-of-ways and have relatively few road crossings. Most of these trails are restricted to non-motorized use in the summer months and allow bike riding and hiking.
The major cities of Arlington, Norfolk and Richmond also have recreational trails for bike riding, sight seeing and getting some exercise outdoors.
