The Wild Goose State Trail is a 34-mile long unpaved pathway that extends from Fond Du Lac to Wisconsin Route 60 south of Juneau in Southeastern Wisconsin. The trail was constructed along an abandoned railroad right-of-way. The trail travels through the Wisconsin farm country to the southwest of Fond Du Lac and passes through thick woodlands and several communities.
Conditions
The Wild Goose State Trail is unpaved with a surface of compacted crushed stone. The trail is open for hiking and bike riding during the months without snow. Snowmobiles are allowed in winter. Horseback riding is also allowed on parts of the trail.

End Points
The north end of the Wild Goose State Trail is located at W. Pioneer Road and S. Hickory Street on the south side of Fond Du Lac. There is a trailhead with parking on W. Rolling Meadows Drive.
The south end of the Wild Goose State Trail is located along Wisconsin Route 60 at Junction Road, a point that is a little over 4 miles south of Juneau. There is a trailhead with parking at this location.
