Recreational trails for walking, running and cycling in Frisco, The Colony, Hackberry, Oak Point and Little Elm Texas
Frisco is located in Collin County and Denton County to the north of Dallas in North Central Texas.
This area has many recreational trails for bike riding, walking and running. These trails are located in parks, along greenbelts and adjacent to many of the major thoroughfares.
Cottonwood Creek Trail
The Cottonwood Creek Trail is a 2-mile long paved pathway that spans between Teal Parkway and the Dallas North Tollway. The trail wanders through the natural areas alongside the creek and passes ponds and residential neighborhoods. The route is located well away from roadways and has an underpass for crossing Legacy Drive. The trail passes the shopping areas along Eldorado Parkway and the east end of the trail provides access to Wakeland High School.
