The Baw Beese Trail is an 8-mile long paved pathway that passes through Jonesville and Hillsdale in Southern Michigan. Thr trail follows alongside State Route 99 from W. Chicago Street to Arch Avenue, then wanders a bit to the east. The trail goes near Hillsdale College and past the commercial district of Hillsdale. the trail also goes past the Hillsdale County Fairgrounds, then wraps around Baw Beese Lake.
Conditions
The Baw Beese Trail is paved for the entire route. The trail is open for bike riding, running and walking. A large portion of the trail follows alongside major roadways.

The north end of the Baw Beese Trail is located at W. Chicago Street and Olds Street in Jonesville.
The south end of the Baw Beese Trail is located at Baw Beese Lake in Hillsdale.
There is a walking path to the southeast of Baw Beese Lake that extends as far as McClelland Street near Monroe Street.
