The Fred Meijer Kenowa Trail is a 9.8-mile long paved pathway located between Zeeland Charter Township and Byron Center in Western Michigan. This area is located to the west of Grand Rapids and east of Holland. The trail follows alongside rural roads passing farmland and forested areas.
The western end of the Fred Meijer Kenowa Trail connects to the 2.9-mile long paved Upper Macatawa Greenway Trail which meanders away from roadways through the Upper Macatawa Natural Area. There are a number of unpaved hiking trails within the natural area.
The two trails intersects the pave multi-use pathways that follow alongside 64th Avenue and Adams Street.
Conditions
The Fred Meijer Kenowa Trail is paved for the entire route. The trail is open for bike riding and pedestrians. The trail follows alongside the rural roads of Byron Road, 48th Avenue, Riley Street, 24th Avenue, Greenly Street, 8th Avenue and Quincy Street.
The Upper Macatawa Greenway Trail is paved and located away from roads.

End Points
The southwest end of the Fred Meijer Kenowa Trail is located along Byron Road to the east of Interstate 196 in Zeeland. At this location the trail connects to the Upper Macatawa Greenway Trail which extends to Adams Street to the east of 88th Avenue.
The northeast end of the Fred Meijer Kenowa Trail is located at Quincy Street and Kenowa Avenue Southwest in Byron Center.
